Mission

The schools in the Southeastern District in partnership with the home and community will provide for the academic, technical, physical, social, moral and spiritual development of students equipping them with the skills necessary for productive living.

Goals

AS A TEAM WE WILL PROVIDE QUALITY EDUCATION FOR ALL STUDENTS BY:

  1. providing strong leadership for successful schools through effective strategic planning;
  2. inculcating attitude, ideals and ethics valued by a Christian democratic country, and fostering a high level of patriotism;
  3. providing for the intellectual, social, physical and moral development of students;
  4. developing the technical skills necessary for the economic development of the immediate and wider society;
  5. fostering positive team spirit at all levels;
  6. creating in parents an awareness of the significance of their role in the education of their children;
  7. developing high morale in and among staff;
  8. providing for the professional development of staff thereby enhancing teaching skills and keeping abreast of the ever-changing trends and issues in education;
  9. maintaining and enhancing a close relationship with the home and the wider community;
  10. providing a smooth transition from Pre-school to Primary, and from primary to secondary education;
  11. developing leadership skills in students;
  12. developing a cohesive working partnership among
    superintendent, administrators, teachers and support
    staff so as to create schools of the finest quality.
